A Communication Support Worker goes to some classes with Nihal to translate what the teacher is saying into BSL.

Joining in discussions

The Communication Support Worker signs what other pupils are saying and helps Nihal put his views across.

Doing his work

Nihal goes to the support base to study and do his homework. The teachers at the base help with anything he didn't understand in class.

Doing exams

Nihal does his exams in BSL. He gets help from a scribe to write his answers.
